The most exciting challenge of the year, Myzone's Global MEPs Challenge, has officially launched! The challenge will commence on June 1st, running throughout June 2019, with the primary focus to get more people participating in regular activities. Over the years, multiple studies have shown members' exercise levels increase by 40% due to gamification, with the pay-off linked to significant member engagement and associated retention benefits.

Myzone’s reward currency; Myzone Effort Points (MEPs), aligns with the World Health Organization's activity level targets. The Myzone monthly goal of 1300 MEPs is the standard for all users to achieve to be able to work their way up the Myzone Status rankings. The purpose of Myzone is to help people feel good about exercise by rewarding effort, which helps with increasing member retention. Because Myzone rewards effort and not fitness, members are motivated to keep putting in more and more work.

How can The Global MEPs Challenge motivate members?

The Challenge aids users to become more familiar with the goal of 1300 MEPs, and empowers them to achieve this target so that they can enjoy the benefits of regular activity. The challenge is a way for Myzone clubs to get members committing to participation, which will give both clubs and users the chance to win cash prizes.

How do I get my club involved?

To get involved, simply register your club by completing the form here.

Facilities will also need to purchase a minimum of 20 MZ-3 or 40 MZ-1 belts (throughout the month of May), to qualify for entry into the challenge - so hurry up, there are just a few days left! Once your club has signed up, all of your members will be entered into the challenge as well.

What's in it for your Club?

Clubs will be rewarded with financial prizes, which have a combined value of USD 30,000. The challenge is simple. Any person registered to a licensed Myzone club that hits the 1300 MEPs milestone throughout the month of June, will be entered into a prize draw to win one of the cash prizes. In addition to the prize awarded to the individual users, the club in which the winner is registered to will also win a cash prize of equivalent value.

For Australia, the total cash prize is 2000 AUD, broken into smaller prizes. A question of skill will be required to be answered by any member who achieves the target of 1300 MEPs to have the chance to win a cash prize.
