HIIT Studio Uses HIIT Training Monitor

MYZONE’s HIIT training monitor has become a hit at HIIT Studio in London’s West Hampstead by helping members to burn up to 1,000 calories per session.

HIIT Gym offers group HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) exercise classes using TRX, kettlebells and Tabata. By combining heart rate-based interval training with the efficiency of functional strength training, members get faster results and reduce the risk of plateauing.

HIIT Gym franchise owner Simon Bateman invested in MYZONE’s HIIT training monitor to offer his members the opportunity to track their workouts 24/7. “We’d used other fitness technologies, but they were only suitable for inside the studio. We couldn’t track what clients were doing outside of the gym, so we got in touch with MYZONE.”

MYZONE complements HIIT Gym’s model of using group workouts to provide accountability, motivation, structure and support to help members achieve their fitness goals. The technology plays a central role in the studio. “We set MEP targets for all new joiners for their first three months and use MYZONE to track their exercise as well as their statistics from body fat to lean muscle. We also do lots of challenges using MYZONE to help keep members motivated.”

The technology is also used to monitor the performance of trainers. “It’s important that our team practice what they preach, so we also track their level of activity with MYZONE. Having personal experience of MYZONE helps our personal trainers to promote the technology and advise members on its benefits.”

MYZONE is a great retention tool for the gym. “MYZONE helps us to track, motivate and reward our members and without it, this would be very hard to achieve. We know from research that if we can service our clients well and keep them for just 90 days we have a fan that will stay with us.”
