As the only dedicated health club in the city of Lisburn, Club Class Fitness has members ranging from 16 to 83 years old.
“I’ve been in the fitness industry for more than 25 years and I’m always looking for new ways to help people better engage with fitness.” -Keith Wilson, Club Manager.
“I’ve seen lots of systems designed to record activity, but many are expensive or poorly designed. MYZONE is the most innovative tracking system I’ve come across.”
Club Class Fitness is equipped with state-of-the-art cardio and resistance equipment as well as a dedicated Kinesis area, power wall and small group training fitness rig.
It now has a dedicated MYZONE channel, which means that every screen in the building is capable of displaying MYZONE. This includes the cardio screens in the gym, dedicated screens in the Spin Studio, reception area and changing rooms.
“There is nowhere in the club that doesn’t show MYZONE.”
“The most exciting MYZONE challenge we’ve had so far was probably the escalating MEPS challenge in the different colored zones. This was won by a member who said she had never won anything remotely fitness-related in her life.”
In another challenge, one member won a mountain bike in a draw that could only be entered if you had completed 3,500 MEPs. The club also has plans to take part in an inter-club challenge between several health clubs in Ireland.
Outside of the building, Club Class Fitness is using social media to generate a strong MYZONE following. Workout profiles are tweeted to show who is working hard and the members themselves also proudly share their best workouts on Facebook or Twitter.
By being able to track their clients’ attendance and workouts between sessions, MYZONE is helping trainers keep their clients on track with their programs.
“MYZONE works for the club and our members and I believe it will improve retention in the longer term. I’d recommend MYZONE to any gym owner who really wants to enhance their offering to members and trainers. It’s a fun, engaging and effective way to track activity levels and I’m delighted I decided to bring it to Club Class Fitness.”
