Hi, my name is Alison Hooper, I am a member of Coaching Zone Warners Bay in Australia. My driving force to exercise has without a doubt been having the energy to keep up with my three young children!
In our family, home schooling during the coronavirus lockdown was my responsibility. Making time for exercise was my ‘me time’ and allowed me to be everything my family needed me to be during this challenging time. I have discovered the holistic benefits of exercise and continuing my workout routine was a no-brainer! My favorite workout is when I can get in a nice run through the bush, by the lake.
Myzone has definitely helped me. I love focusing on the target zones during a workout. It gives me something extra to think about, adds an extra element to the workout and helps the time fly. The charity I have chosen to donate my $500 to is Run DIPG Ltd.
This charity is dedicated to improving outcomes for patients and their families impacted by the deadliest form of childhood cancer – the brainstem cancer, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG).
I was very delighted to discover that I had won a prize in this challenge, it’s a nice reward for my hard work over the past month. I can’t wait to use the prize money to buy my husband an Apple Watch. I was gifted one and love using it to measure the distance of my outdoor runs; now it’s his turn! Thanks Myzone!
