Our digital platform currently operates in over 84 countries and in over 7,500 clubs. With the goal to continue to drive expansion, we are excited to announce that we have entered into an agreement with the Bravo Group as part of our exciting strategic growth into Asia.
Bravo Group will offer all aspects of support and service for the Myzone products across Japan. As a leading fitness content company, Bravo will also offer customers various high quality video content through the Myzone platform.
The heart rate-based platform which offers in-club group heart rate software, video programming and a branded app for members not only allows members to track the effectiveness of workouts safely, but also allows operators to gamify their members workouts creating communities, challenges, incentives and much more. Working with many of the world’s leading operators, such as Anytime Fitness, Fitness First, GoodLife Fitness, Golds gym and David Lloyd Leisure, the digital platform has been proven to drive retention, and member engagement and has experienced significant growth in recent years.
Mike Beeney, Director of Myzone Asia Pacific, said “Bravo was the obvious partner to bring Myzone into Japan. They have an unrivaled reputation as a leading fitness content company, already representing a number of world-class complementary brands. The team’s extensive experience and strong network, together with their infrastructure, will ensure Myzone customers receive the high level of service and support associated with the Myzone brand. We have worked closely with the Bravo team over the last year, on translating support materials for the local market, and product training to prepare for the launch.
Japan is a large and important fitness market in Asia, where we have already identified demand for the product, both from local operators and from global clients who operate in Japan. Officially launching in September, this exciting partnership allows us for the first time to offer this technology to operators in Japan and is an important part of our continued growth in Asia. We are hugely excited to be working with John and his team”
From Tokyo, Chair and Founder of Bravo Group, John Boardman, stated, “I have been closely following the incredible growth of Myzone and it’s positive impact on the fitness industry for many years, and the Bravo team is genuinely excited to be able to offer this highly effective technology to the industry here in Japan.
The wearable market continues to boom and while there are many wearable options out there, Myzone is the only technology built specifically for the fitness club and fitness professional market, and built by a team which intimately understands the challenges of member acquisition, on-boarding, and retention and the value of up-selling programming and personal training.
In addition, Myzone has recently launched the world’s first virtual live group workout, MZ-Remote, that is integrated with Zoom, and displays the heart rate feedback of all participants on one screen, allowing everyone to work out together from their smartphone, wherever they are. This feature will enable clubs, trainers and instructors to offer members “live” experiences with real-time feedback encouraging increased competition, motivation and results.
I am personally a big fan of Myzone, using it every time I work out. I have found that it keeps my motivation high as I strive to earn “points” and it also increases my accountability to stay consistent, through my connections with others on Myzone.”
