Myzone and David Lloyd are encouraging people to unite for an hour of physical activity this Saturday as part of a European-wide celebration of the power of exercise during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two leading fitness brands will host a fun and energetic David Lloyd Blaze-inspired workout combining cardiovascular training with strength, boxing and mixed martial arts.

Synced to up-beat, motivational dance music, the full body, high intensity session incorporates Myzone’s wearable heart rate based system to allow users to track their performance in real time and ensure they are working at the right intensity during the class.

Blaze master trainer Tina Traina is hosting the session on Saturday 30th May at 16:00 BST (17:00 European Central Time) in support of Europe Active’s campaign #BEACTIVE HOUR. Designed to highlight the vital role of physical activity for physical, mental and social wellbeing during this time of crisis, the #BEACTIVE HOUR is encouraging people across Europe to take part in simultaneous physical activity – as individuals and families, both indoors and outside.

The campaign showcases the power of physical activity in promoting physical and mental health, boosting immunity and promoting a sense of community.
